BBC1 Interview on Gender-Swap Macbeth

With the news story about Jack Whitehall, a straight man, being cast as Disney's first ever openly gay protagonist, the conversation around identity and casting has again reared its head. Sunday Morning Live on BBC1 hosted a panel discussion on the topic, and invited NYT to do a filmed rehearsal and interview about the thinking behind our production, where both Macbeth and Lady M are played by women. We had a rather groggy early morning but it was great fun!
