Join best buds Loose Willis and John Travulva weekly as they delve into all things DRAG KING.

The Drag King Cast is a brand new comedy-cum-queer-culture podcast from the boys of award-winning, all women and non-binary Drag King collective Pecs Drag Kings.

Esteemed kings John and Loose are used to performing in front of screaming crowds. During lockdown, gazing at themselves in the mirror hasn't quite cut it, so they're bringing the world of kinging to delight your ears instead. Expect interviews with the best Drag Kings and Things on the scene, dips into queer history, sex and fashion through the ages with your favourite kingly experts and a delicious sprinkle of smashing the patriarchy.

Is that a 5-star rating in your pocket, or are you just pleased to hear us?

Episode One: Sweet Anxious Queers kicks off with our resident hunks John Travulva and Loose Willis taking up space in an exciting new format: podcasting! They hand over to Katy and Jodie who talk about the creation of their drag king alter egos, the magic of alternative drag and the importance of all forms of gender performance. They interview the lovable soft-boy Christian Adore who is known for his brilliantly funny improvised songs, sketches and raps.

Subjects range from performing masculinity, non-binary pride, audience trust in ‘female’ performers and getting emails that open with “Hi Girls!”

Victor Victorious then delves into cowgirl queerness and the gender-fluidity of the costume design in 1953 Doris Day classic ‘Calamity Jane’ and Izzy Aman takes us home with a seductively sapphic reading of Wu Zao’s poem ‘For The Courtesan Ch’ing Lin’.
