Run by theatre industry organisation The Mono Box, PLAYSTART 2019 offers four emerging writers and directors a platform to complete a 15-minute play, with the support and mentorship of a professional playwright, production assistance, and feedback from industry professionals to help them realise their work. This mentorship culminates in two performances in November at Hampstead Theatre where The Mono Box is an Associate Company.

I’ve been cast in Meatballs by Maatin Patel, directed by Ebe Bamgboye, which explores the intricacies of friendship across privilege, faith and power lines. We’ll be performing as a curtain-raiser on the 16th and at the Gala event on the 17th.
